We invite you to participate in

the 12th International Scientific and Technical Conference

for Undergraduate and Graduate Students «Drukarstvo Molode»

Kyiv, April 17-19, 2012

April, 17 900-1900 — arrival of participants, accommodation in the university dormitories, presentation of the Printing and Publishing Institute and the program of the Conference, city tour.

April, 18 1200 — opening of the Conference, plenary meeting in lecture room No. 10, academic building No. 25 (7 Volodymyrska St.).

April, 19 10001600 — continuation of work of the Conference, meeting of sections in the lecture rooms of the academic building No. 8 (1/37 Academika Yangelya St.) and the academic building No.25 (7 Volodymyrska St.). Conference end.

April, 19 — departure of participants.

Topics of plenary, section reports and stand presentations:

— modern printing technologies, equipment and materials;

— design, modeling and decoration of printed editions and packaging;

— publishing business;

— bibliology and distribution of printed editions;

— economics and management of the printing and publishing industry;

— historical aspects of book-printing.

For participation in the Conference it is required to submit (by mail or e-mail) the following papers to the address of the organizing committee:

an application;

— report outline 1 page А4 (including figures), in one of working languages of the Conference;

— file with the report outline.

Languages of the Conference: Ukrainian, English, Russian, Polish.

In the application it is necessary to provide: full name of a graduate or an undergraduate student, year of studies, group, speciality, last name, name, patronymic of an academic supervisor, his academic degree, topic of the report presented by a participant — on the plenary meeting, section meetings or at the stand; home address, telephone.

A higher educational institution must submit materials that will be presented and the list of delegates till January 30th, 2012.

The participants will be accommodated in the University halls of residence. The participation fee will be established in the course of the Conference arrangement and will be discussed in mails.



The report outline volume is 1 page А4 (including figures), font size 14.

The text of a report must be typed in Microsoft Word and Equation Editor 5.0. Font — Time New Roman (Cyr).

Requirements to material presentation:

— universal decimal classification;

— copyright mark, author’s full name, year;

— initials and last name of an academic supervisor, academic degree, position;

— report title;

— abstract in English;

— text of the report outline.

All the above stated items must be indented (one line).

References to scientific and technical sources are not provided in the report outline.

Figures, tables and formulas should be presented if they play an essential role and serve to prove the originality of the conducted research. Figures must not be inserted in the text; they must be attached in a separate file of EPS, CDR, TIFF format.

Stand report should be made on the A3, A2 or A1 sheet for comprehensive presentation of the research results on the stands at the lecture halls of respective sections in the regular course of work; speakers must bring their reports on the day of the section meeting (workshop).

It was investigated and analysed 8 complete sets of printing plates output in the CtP devices and realized the comparative analysis in quality of output of raster-graphic information in comparison with printing plates made by the traditional technology.
