Preentry courses

The courses are designed for in-depth training before university application for high-school student and young specialists within the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” framework "The Future of Ukraine".

 

Participated in the courses can be 11-12 grade students of secondary schools, as well as those who already have completed secondary education.

 

The goal of course is to bring the knowledge of our students with the requirements of university programs. Training courses for pre-university training provides not only a high level of knowledge, but also the opportunity to join the circles of technical creativity, take part in creative competitions, contests, become a member of the Junior Academy of Sciences, learn the history of Publishing and Printing Institute, its traditions and achievements, as well as the main activities of its departments, laboratories and research units. The objective of the courses is also to make an early professional orientation for students to identify the skills and talents of each of them and to develop recommendations based on their choice of future career; attract the most gifted students to research work in the leading departments and laboratories within the Publishing and Printing Institute, in particular, provides certain benefits to enrol in National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.

 

Preparation of applicants is carried out, depending on the specialty, in the following subjects:

  • Mathematics

  • Physics

  • Ukrainian Language and Literature (advanced level)

  • History of Ukraine

  • Foreign Language (English)

 

Preparation for Creativity Competition

 

  • Model Drawing

  • Still-life Painting

  • Drawing Design

 

For applicant who enters the natural, mathematical and engineering areas those who have completed a year of pre-entry courses to higher education institution for admission on the basis of complete secondary education will be awarded with 10 points for the final certification of the results during admission.

 

The documents attached to the application for admission to courses:

1. Photocopy of birth certificate or the first and second pages of the passport;

2. 2 photos 3x4 cm;

3. 2 files for documents.



Duration of trainings - 7 months

Learning schedule: Evening courses (3 times a week from 16.00 till 19.00), and Part-Time courses (2 times a month on Saturdays from 10.00 till.17 00) for specialties "Publishing and Editing", "Advertising and Public Relations").



Classes start - on October 1st.

For specialty Fine Arts classes are held 3 times a week on Thursday, Saturday from 16.30 till 19.00 and on Sunday from 10.00 till 14.00.

Tuition is from 400 UAH.

Application – from September 1st.
