Petro Kyrychok

Director of the Publishing and Printing Institute of NTUU "KPI"Doctor of Science, Professor, Honoured Science Worker of Ukraine. In 2003 he was elected as a Head of the Department of Publishing and Printing Technologies of IPP. That same year, in order to provide opportunity for PhD and doctoral Theses defense he set up and became a leader of the Specialized Scientific Council and established scientific and technical journal “Technology and Technique of Typography”.

Prof. Kyrychok had prepared 3 Doctors of Science and 9 Ph.D. He published more than 130 scientific works, including 3 monographs, 3 textbooks, has 21 Inventor's Certificates and Patents. Research interests: technological processes and finishing equipment for fixing parts and components for processing machinery and printing equipment.

 

 

 

Alla Kvasko

Deputy Director, Publishing and Printing Institute of NTUU "KPI" for Methodological Activities. 

Ph.D., Associate Professor. Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council of Publishing and Printing Institute. Chairman of the Educational Board of PPI.

Has graduate from Publishing and Printing Department, National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" with a degree in "Management". Since 1998 began teaching at the Department of Organization of Printing, Publishing and Book Distribution. In 2008 has defended PhD these in economics and later received the title of associate professor. Alla Kvasko is the author of over 30 scientific and educational works, including 1 co-authored texbook and 1 textbook with a stamp from Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as well as collective monograph.
Disciplines: Economic Analysis of publishing and printing organizations, Labor Economics and socio-economic relations, Organization, rationing and wages, Logistics, Production Logistics, Operations Management, Quality Management.
Research interests: the potential of the enterprise and its management, competitiveness, enterprise development management.

 

 

 

Oksana Lototska

Deputy Director, Publishing and Printing Institute of NTUU "KPI" for Educational Activities.

Graduated from Institute of Mechanical Engineering, National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" with a degree in "Technology of mechanical engineering". Since 2006 is teaching at the Department of Publishing and Printing Technologies where subsequently has began work on dissertation research.


In 2012 she defended her PhD thesis. Oksana Lototska has authored over 40 scientific and educational papers.
Research areas: improving the quality and performance properties of the parts of printing machines using surface plastic deformation of combining different methods of recovery. Currently, work is underway in this area is aimed at finding practical use of the results.

 

Mykola Andreychuk

Deputy Director, Publishing and Printing Institute of NTUU "KPI" for Distance LearningPhD in Social Communications, Associate Professor of the Department of Publishing and Editing.

He teaches such disciplines as "Theory and history of publishing and editing", "Marketing and promotion of books", "Communication Technology", "Sociology of Mass Communications".
Mykola is the author of several publications on the history of publishing, Ukrainian -Jewish relations and local history book "Ukrainian-Jewish discourse: the coverage of interethnic relations in printed items of Naddniprianshchina (60’s of XIX – beginning of XX century).

Research interests: History and Present State of Ukrainian Publishing, Media History, Ukrainian-Jewish Relations, Ukrainian-Polish Relations in the interwar period and during World War II, Ukrainian resistance movement 60-80 years of the twentieth century, Local History.

 

 

Valery Morflyuk

Deputy Director, Publishing and Printing Institute of NTUU "KPI" for Scientific ResearchIn 1971 he graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", Department of Automation and Electronic Instruments Engineering, specializing in Electronic Computing Machinery.

Doctor of Technical Sciences, specialty 05.05.01 - Machinery and Printing Production Processes , Professor of Department of Reprography at PPI.

He worked in such academic institutions as: Institute UkrNDIPlastmash , Institute for Problems of Strength of the NAS of Ukraine, and since 1973 he has been working in NTUU "KPI". 

Took part in numerous research projects and, as a result, is the author of over 90 publications, including 1 monograph, 1 textbook, 45 articles published in professional journals, 7 patents of Ukraine and over 20 presentations at scientific and technical conferences at various levels. 

Field of Academic Interests: the construction of software and hardware for automatic determination and stabilization process parameters in roll and sheet-fed presses and software development based on the problem-oriented software within the real-time.

 

Valentin Sherstiuk

Deputy Director, Publishing and Printing Institute of NTUГ "KPI" for International Cooperation,  Doctor of Chemistry, Professor, Academician of the Ukrainian Technological Academy (Department of Printing and Publishing Technologies). 

During the research scientist has found photo initiation of polymerization and structural changes in the registration fields of printing and holographic devices; the crucial role of single-electron processes of photo transferring of electron (formation of 5-waves chromium compounds) in the formation of the latent image in layers dichromated polymers and multi-electron processes in the formation of relief and phase images was revealed; synthesis and use of organic-inorganic nano-composites for technical diagnostics and active and "intelligent" printing packing.

Research interests: Photochemistry and Photo Technology, Physical and Chemical Principles of Printing Production Processes, Nano-systems and Nanotechnology in Printing and Packaging.
